Gaby Geuther found her love for the natural world as a child in Germany sitting all day in Linden Trees and roaming the Bavarian forest. She learned every plant and edible mushroom from her father, as well as the ability to paint. As a young adult, she studied with artists in southern Spain. After moving to California she expressed herself in large oil paintings and participated in performance art. Drawn to the Santa Monica Mountains she settled in Topanga where she found a new home that inspires her to capture the magical beauty of the landscape in watercolor and egg tempera.
